Kazakh Managers Learn About Tech Transfer Practices

Six managers representing Kazakhstan’s new Technology Commercialization Center spent a week at IC2 for workshops and practice related to technology transfer.

February, 2014: As part of its program for Kazakhstan, GCG provided a week-long course in technology transfer for representatives of Kazakhstan’s Technology Commercialization Center (TCC) and the Project Management Unit that oversees the TCC. Six Kazakh managers worked intensely with GCG managers to practice assessing and validating market potential of Kazakh technologies. They also attended workshops on technology licensing, valuation, commercialization strategies, negotiations, and more.

IC2 Institute Director, Dr. Robert Peterson, (below, center) reviewed participants final presentations and presented certificates of course completion to the Kazakh managers.
