Advanced Driver Assistance

An automated driver-assistance module to assist drivers with parking, proximity sensing, etc.

It is a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) that is more effective and has a lower cost than competitors. It uses a camera and algorithms to detect lane color and position to warn drivers who drift into another lane or oncoming traffic. Eliminates the need for radar and lasers. The product is currently in use in 11 car models of Hyundai and Kia.

Benefits:

•Crash prevention (majority of accidents are caused by driver error, distractions, and drowsiness)

•Encourage drivers to use signals when changing lanes

•Enhanced lane detection (99% accurate)
