IC² Institute Endowed Fellow Linda Golden received the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) Award for Best Article in an Actuarial Journal Published in 2010. The award was given on August 7, 2012, at the ARIA annual conference. The article, “The Effectiveness of Using a Basis Hedging Strategy to Mitigate the Financial Consequences of Weather-Related Risks” (with Charles Yang and Hong Zou), was published in the North American Actuarial Journal.
