Greg Pogue to speak at AUTM Asia 2015

On April 8, Greg Pogue of the IC² Institute will speak at AUTM Asia in Kuala Lumpur on “The Innovation Reef Model – Learning from Austin and its Best Practices.”

The “Coral Reef Model” of technology transfer ecosystems unites “environment” or government and institutional policy, “coral structures” or institutional and TTO practices, and “organisms” or the people who circulate and network through mutualistic relationships to accelerate technologies to market.

Introductions were provided by Asyran Yusoff and Imran Ariff, two Malaysian participants in the IC² Institute’s Converting Technology to Wealth course, and subsequent invitation by the AUTM organizers.

AUTM, or the Association of University Technology Managers, is a worldwide association devoted to university technology transfer and the management of academic intellectual property.
