HUB Orientation Session

The Texas Venture Labs Accelerator

The Travis County Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program and IC² of the University of Texas at Austin cordially invite you to an orientation session that seeks your participation in the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs (TVL).  The TVL at the McCombs School of Business has agreed to consider accepting, tuition-free, a limited number of qualified HUBs into its Accelerator/Practicum beginning in late January 2020.

The TVL Accelerator/Practicum matches Austin-area startups with teams of UT- Austin graduate students for 10-week long consulting projects. A hallmark of the Accelerator/Practicum is its rigorous market validation process and graduate student research that has assisted businesses to grow more quickly and address particular needs. The application deadline is December 8, 2019.

Specific Orientation Session Goals and Objectives:

  • Learn about the potential benefits and types of activities offered by the Accelerator/Practicum;
  • Determine the fit of the Accelerator/Practicum to your business;
  • Ask questions of TVL program staff and Travis County officials and become informed about the application process
