Senior Administrative Associate/Research Administrator II

James Medina serves as the Senior Administrative Associate/Research Administrator II, where he oversees a wide range of administrative and research-support functions. He joins IC² from the Department of Psychology, where he specialized in pre-award research administration. James brings a decade of experience at The University of Texas at Austin. Throughout his time on campus, he has held roles in the Oden Institute Center for Autonomy, Department of Astronomy, Texas Global, and the Office of Sponsored Projects. Prior to joining UT, he worked in Washington, D.C. in government roles, as well as in the technology and residential design sectors.

He holds a degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Outside of research administration, James enjoys creating interior design spaces, couture and bespoke textile designs.
