ATI and Austin Energy host meetup at SXSW ECO

SXSW ECO, a networking and forum event, kicks off its second year today, October 7th. SXSW ECO brings professionals from the public, private, and academic sectors together for three days to work on solutions to the problems that face civil society, the economy, and the environment.

The program has eight separate themes, ranging from business to design to climate change. Within each theme, industry experts and practitioners will speak about pressing issues and trends.

Today at SXSW ECO, the Austin Technology Incubator teamed up with Austin Energy to present the “Austin Clean Energy Meet Up,” where key members of Austin Energy met with ATI’s Clean Energy Incubator’s entrepreneurs, sponsors, investors, and other clean energy experts.  “Austin Energy and ATI are partners in this community and this is an opportunity for us to showcase that relationship in the hopes that it will encourage other companies to collaborate on clean energy technologies,” said Robin Murphy, ATI’s events coordinator.
