ATI volunteers at Spring Service Day 2014

On May 9, staff from the Austin Technology Incubator joined more than 650 volunteers from 20 companies to spruce up two high-need schools in Austin as part of Spring Service Day 2014.

The Service Day, organized twice each year by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas, brings together volunteers from Austin companies to contribute hands-on work to Austin schools, non-profits, or municipal facilities. This year’s Spring Service Day benefitted Oak Springs and Sanchez Elementary Schools with new fences, new and improved running tracks, 40+ newly planted or re-mulched trees, 27 revived garden areas and beds, 2 long-jump pits, and 200 kits for homeless youth outreach, among other projects.

Here is one of the ATI crews posing with a map of the US they painted. Thanks to all the ATI volunteers!
